Pursuant to Art. 13 of the Personal Data Protection Code, Users visiting the website nexim.it (hereinafter also the “Site”) are informed of the following:
Data Controller
The Site is owned and operated by Nexim Italia S.r.l., with registered office at Via Caldera, 21 – 20153 Milan (MI), Italy, C.F. and P.IVA 02575760067 – R.E.A. Milan 2572189, which is the Controller of the personal data of the Users who access it.
Nexim Italia S.r.l. ensures compliance with personal data protection legislation (D.Lgs 196/03, the Italian Personal Data Protection Code).
Place of Data Processing
The processing connected with the web services of this Site takes place at the aforementioned premises of Nexim Italia S.r.l. and is handled only by technical staff of the Office, appointed to carry out the processing, or by any persons appointed to perform occasional maintenance operations.
Types of data processed
1) Browsing data
The IT systems and software procedures used to operate these sites acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain personal data which is then implicitly transmitted through the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects but, by its very nature, could allow Users to be identified through association and processing with data held by third parties, carried out only upon explicit request of the Judicial Authority.
This category of data includes the IP addresses and domain names of the computers used by Users connecting to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file returned in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the User’s operating system and IT environment. This data constitutes the connection log.
2) Data voluntarily provided by Users/visitors
The User may browse the Site without disclosing their personal identity to Nexim Italia S.r.l. However, if the User chooses to provide their personal data, they consent to its collection and use as described in the Privacy Policy Rules.
Should the User, on connecting to this Site, send – on an optional, explicit and voluntary basis – their personal data in order to access certain services or to submit requests by email, this will entail the acquisition by Nexim Italia S.r.l. of the sender's address and/or any other personal data, which will be processed solely in order to respond to the request or to provide the service.
Purposes and methods of the processing for which the data is intended
Through the Site, Nexim Italia S.r.l. collects personal data in order to provide the User with a secure, convenient, efficient and personalised service.
On this basis, the User authorises Nexim Italia S.r.l. to use their personal data for the following purposes:
- provide the User's profile in relation to the electronic communications services supplied;
- provide services and customer support at their request;
- resolve disputes and settle issues;
- prevent potentially prohibited or unlawful activities and enforce the provisions of the User Agreement;
- personalise, measure and improve the services offered and the content of the websites;
- provide information on the services offered and on those of other companies, sending communications on service updates and promotional offers;
- check the accuracy of the data and verify it with third parties.
Personal data is processed using electronic or otherwise automated tools. (e.g. using electronic procedures and media) and/or manually (e.g. on paper) for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected and, in any event, in accordance with the legal provisions in force on the matter.
Optional nature of the provision of data
Except as indicated in relation to browsing data, the User is free to provide the personal data requested from time to time by Nexim Italia S.r.l.. However, failure to provide such data may make it impossible to supply the requested services.

Mandatory data is marked with an asterisk “*”, and failure to provide it prevents the Data Controller from providing the requested services. For this reason, it is not technically possible to complete registration on the Site without providing such data.
Optional data, on the other hand, may be provided at your discretion, and failure to provide it neither prevents registration on the Site nor makes it impossible for the Data Controller to provide the requested services.
In order to ensure that personal data is always accurate and up to date, it is important to report any changes using the dedicated fields provided on the Site.
Except as indicated in relation to browsing data, the User is free to provide the personal data requested from time to time by the Site. However, failure to provide such data may make it impossible to supply the requested services.
Scope of data disclosure
No data arising from the web service is communicated or disseminated. The data processed by the Site is known to the Data Controller and solely to the technical staff of the Office appointed to carry out the processing, or to any persons appointed to perform occasional maintenance operations.
The personal data provided by Users who submit requests for informational material to be sent to them (newsletters, answers to queries, etc.) is used solely to perform the service or activity requested and is disclosed to third parties only where this is necessary for that purpose. Personal data provided by Users will be disclosed to third parties only where such disclosure is necessary in order to comply with the Users’ own requests. Specific summary notices will progressively be reported or displayed on the pages of the Site set up for particular services on request.
The User acknowledges and accepts that Nexim Italia S.r.l. may disclose personal data at the request of the Judicial Authority, within the limits prescribed by law, as well as in cases of breach of the Privacy Rules, in civil and criminal proceedings, including for the infringement of third-party rights, in order to protect the rights, property or safety of every User.
Marketing
Nexim Italia S.r.l. does not sell or transfer for consideration the User's personal data collected while browsing the Site to third parties for marketing purposes, without the explicit consent of the User concerned. Nexim Italia S.r.l. may combine User data with information collected by other companies in order to improve and personalise the services offered and the content of its websites.
Rights of data subjects
Pursuant to Art.
7 of the Personal Data Protection Code, Site users have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exists, even if not yet recorded, and to have such data communicated in intelligible form.
In particular, Users have the right to be informed of:
- the origin of the personal data;
- the purposes and methods of the processing;
- the logic applied where the processing is carried out with the aid of electronic tools;
- the identifying details of the data controller, the data processors and the designated representative;
- the entities or categories of entities to whom the personal data may be disclosed or who may become aware of it in their capacity as designated representative within the territory of the State, as data processors or as persons authorised to process data.
- the updating, rectification or, where there is an interest therein, the supplementing of the data;
- the erasure, the conversion into anonymous form or the blocking of data processed in breach of the law, including data whose retention is not necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed;
- confirmation that the updating and erasure operations have been notified, including as regards their content, to those to whom the data was disclosed or disseminated, except where compliance proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right protected.
Users of the site have the right to object, in whole or in part: - on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning them, even where relevant to the purpose of the collection;
- to the processing of personal data concerning him or her for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct selling, or for carrying out market research or commercial communication..
